Melisa Bueno-Vega
I've always been good at standing in the weeds of a business and still seeing the bigger picture — spotting the bombs before they go off, then building smart systems to defuse them.
That instinct sat unused for a while. After getting laid off from my last government contract, I went job hunting like everyone else, into a market that wasn't giving much back. A mentor of mine had a different idea: start the business now, as a just-in-case — you never know where you'll be in six months. So I did.
I named it VIBRAINCE — say it like "vibrance," with "brain" in the middle. It's a blend representing vibrance and brains/intelligence, colorful ideas built into systems that actually work.
Now I partner with teams that already have some structure in place, untangling how things actually run and building what holds it together. Teams go from scattered tools and tribal knowledge to systems anyone can actually run — with a partner who's still there months later, not a contractor who vanishes after handoff.
When I'm not deep in a client's systems, you'll usually find me cooking something new, recording a podcast episode, or already half-packed for wherever the next adventure will take me.
